Along the Fox River valley of northern Illinois, I grew up cavorting along creeks and rivers, in forests and wetlands, over prairies and oak savannas. Nature in her amazing and mysterious diversity is an integral part of my life.   

Migrating from Wheaton, Illinois to Los Gatos, California, I “retired” from civil service and studied dreamwork with Jeremy Taylor and taught in Santa Cruz. We lived in an enchanting, haunted 1930’s mountain cabin with amazing views and world-class hiking. A desire to explore soul-centered practices led to a master’s degree in depth psychology with a focus on myth and symbol and the divine feminine. 

Currently savoring Bellingham, Washington’s idyllic setting along the Salish Sea, in the shadow of Kulshan. Still beekeeping, drumming, dancing, hiking, and offering dreamwork in the service of health and wholeness. 

I originally discovered Crones Counsel through a happy accident, attending the Bellingham gathering. An invitation to attend the Seabeck event kindled deeper connections, fueled by pithy conversations with the inimitable Naomi and Kaye. They eventually brought me “on board!” 

Working and playing alongside these articulate and vibrant Crone Awakening Wisdom women, it is my heart’s desire to see CAW’s capacity to serve as a wise and wonderful portal for women of all ages—to gather and connect in authentic ways—expand and deepen.
