In my 80 years of living I have sought opportunities to interface with younger generations. Parents and even children who have the opportunity to be part of an extended family seem to, as a whole, do better than those who have not had that structure. Extended family members tend to be on fewer drugs and have more emotional stability. With living challenges increasing exponentially, emotional support is needed, now more than ever, and yet structures to do so are less available.

In 2023 when my support group of 30 years announced they would no longer continue (Crones Counsel), I and several others decided that not only did our age group continue to need support but as the elders, it was time to step into a greater role of more actively supporting other generations. Thus, starting in 2024 we are calling all women-CAW-and creating Crone Awakening Wisdom. Women of all ages are being asked to unite in supporting each other with concern, responsibility, and love to move ourselves forward. We, representing the archetype of Crone wish to be a conduit for the archetypes of maidens, mothers and matriarchs. Women, it is time to share our caring wisdom and learn from each other. It is with resolve and joy that a circle of belonging and community are being drawn wider. Join us as we craft together both face-to-face and on-line opportunities to share, educate and give to each other at all levels of aging throughout this one precious life.
